    Brief History:
Bela (born Abby) was born and raised in a small town in England, to fairly wealthy parents. Bela's childhood was by no means, easy, and she endured abuse from under her father. Her mother would turn the other cheek when her husband would take his drunken rages out on their daughter. Bela grew to hate both of her parents, her father for being so abusive, and her mother for neglecting her. Bela began to dream of the day that she could leave her home and be done with her family forever.

When Bela was fourteen, she got sick of taking the abuse from her parents, and made a deal with a demon that she met in the playground. The demon would take care of Bela's parents for her, giving leaving her to inherit her parent's wealth and estate...for a price. In exchange, Bela would sell her soul for ten years on earth. Ten years to be free from her parents before the hellhounds would come for her. Angry and wanting to be rid of her parents, Bela accepted the demon's deal. Bela's parents then later died in a mysterious accident.

The consequences of Bela's actions didn't start to sink in until she was about eighteen years old, when she realized that she was going to die sooner than she hoped to. Bela began to look into what exactly what was coming for, and found herself becoming warped into the world of the supernatural hunters. Bela took quickly to researching the supernatural world...finding that she could turn a decent profit from it. Bela than devoted herself to acquiring supernatural objects for rich clients. Bela also ran scams, by selling fake charms and running pretend seances to those that could afford it. Bela felt no shame in what she did, as it brought in money, and she enjoyed her creature comforts. During this time, Bela also became very skilled in coming up with disguises and fake identities for her to use while she was "working".

During one of her jobs, Bela had her first encounter with Bobby Singer, on a job in Flagstaff. Bobby sold Bela an amulet, giving her a pretty good deal on it. Bela would remember this, and hold Bobby in high regard because of it.

As her ten years grew quickly to a close, Bela began to grow desperate with ways to get out of her deal. She began to do research into the demon that she made the deal with, finding out that her name was Lilith...and that she was the keeper of all deals made at the Crossroads. Bela began looking for ways to ward off the hellhounds, anything to buy her some time.

Fate would have it that she'd meet the Winchester brothers when she was trying to sell and obtain a rabbit's foot to sell to the highest bidder. Using a Ouija Board, she found out that it was in a curse box in a storage container of John Winchester's, and sent thieves to go break it out for her. When that failed, Bela went after the brothers herself, going undercover in a restaurant and stealing the rabbit's foot right from under Sam's nose. Sam and Dean broke into her apartment to steal the rabbit's foot from her, and they were successful. Bela pursued them, tracking them to a graveyard where they planned to burn it. Eventually, Bela fell victim to the curse of the rabbit's foot herself, and reluctantly let them destroy it. Bela left the brothers there...but not before swiping some scratch tickets on the front seat of the Impala to collect the winnings for herself.

Bela would run into the Winchester brothers once again when she was running a job in a small coastal New England town, under the guise of Alex, a private inspector who was investigating the death of the niece of a rich old woman. Seeing the Impala, Bela had it towed. She then ran into the Winchester brothers, and they worked together to find a Hand of Glory, which Bela sold. Little did she know, the hand belonged to a vengeful spirit, who killed those that had a killed a family member. Bela barely managed to escape, only with the help of the Winchester brothers.

Hunter and recently-escaped felon Gordon Walker tracks Bela down and threatens to kill her unless she reveals the location of the Winchesters. Reluctant at first, Bela agrees to do so in exchange for his priceless mojo bag. She then "forgets" to warn the Winchesters that Gordon is coming to kill Sam. Once the brothers later confront her, she uses a Ouija board to obtain information on Gordon and his location.

Bela returns when the Winchesters contact her for help in saving fellow hunter and family friend Bobby Singer after he falls into a mystical coma. They need dream root to enter Bobby's dreams and find out what is keeping him asleep. She claims nothing from them in compensation, explains she is helping them in order to repay a debt to Bobby. However, the Winchesters discover after Bobby awakens that she was lying, having helped them to gain access to the Colt, a mystical gun capable of killing any being.

Enraged at the theft, Dean and Sam attempt to track her down, but instead are led into a trap she has set up; police arrest the Winchesters and throw them in jail. Though the demonic overlord Lilith sends her forces, Sam and Dean eventually make their escape.

Dean tracks down Bela and discovers she has sold the Colt. He later gets her criminal record from England and learns her true name is Abbie. Almost ten years prior, when she was 14, she had her parents killed in exchange for her soul as part of a ten-year deal made with a Crossroads Demon. The reason is implied to be abuse by her father. Now desperate because her time is running out, Bela tracks the Winchesters down and tries to kill them, but they anticipated her and escaped ahead of time.

They then call her a few minutes before her deal is up. She confesses to them she tried to get out of the deal with the Crossroads Demon by trading the Colt. Once she gave it up, however, the deal changed so she had to kill Sam as well. She pleads for them to help her, and though Dean refuses, she reveals to him the demon Lilith holds all the contracts brokered by Crossroads Demons, including his own. At the stroke of midnight, Dean hangs up after saying, "I'll see you in Hell."
